Lucas Boselli succeeds Thanasis Molokotos as President of the Americas division and Executive Vice President – Head of Americas for ASSA ABLOY effective April 2.
Boselli, most recently the President, Central and South America Group for the Americas division, joined ASSA ABLOY in 2010 as a Director of Business Development focusing on Latin America. In 2012, he attained more responsibility as the President of Yale Latin America and developed the Yale business throughout the region with programs and product portfolio expansion relevant to growing the business with small and large customers alike.
In 2014, Boselli assumed responsibility for all division businesses in Central and South America including the five substantive acquisitions in Brazil and Chile that magnified the division’s footprint and expansion strategy into the region. The region grew 112% in the past five years. Molokotos says, “Lucas is an industry veteran having 10 years of experience with a competitor prior to joining ASSA ABLOY. Having worked closely with him, particularly over the past four years, I could not be more pleased to hand the reins over to him.”
Boselli, known for his customer focus and entrepreneurial spirit, adds: “I have been fortunate to work alongside Thanasis and have the benefit of his guidance. We share the same strategic vision for the division and I expect to continue down this well-paved path.”
Boselli and his family will relocate from California to Connecticut in the coming months.
